A special fund is a Collective Investment Scheme (CIS) that pools funds from investors with a common goal of higher returns than traditional financial markets, and invests in a wide range of high-yield assets such as global stocks, bonds, derivatives, precious metals, commodities and real estate.

Under the umbrella of Standard Investment Trust Funds, Mansa-X Special Fund is managed by the Standard Investment Bank (SIB), regulated by the Capital Markets Authority (CMA), and held under the custody of I&M Bank, a leading regional financial solutions provider.

The funds’ main objective is to offer competitive returns that drive investors’ capital growth through diversification. The Mansa-X special fund invests in both global and local financial markets across a wide range of asset classes. On the global front, the fund invests in single stocks & stock indices, fixed-income, derivatives, precious metals, currencies, and commodities. Locally it invests in cash and cash equivalents, fixed income, NSE derivatives, Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), and NSE equities.

With a strong focus on global markets, Mansa-X Special Fund mainly invests in international stock exchanges such as the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), London Stock Exchange (LSE), Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FRA) and Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKG). The special fund is offered in KES and USD denominations.
