Standard Investment Bank’s Mansa-X Special Fund has continued to solidify its position as a trusted investment option, showcasing commendable results in the first quarter of 2025. This performance further cements its reputation for reliability and growth in the Kenyan and global financial markets.

The KES-denominated fund recorded actual net returns of 4.89 percent, translating to annualized net returns of 19.56 percent in Q1 2025. This quarter’s achievement is consistent with its strong performance over the past years, including an annual return of 19.53 percent in 2024, one of its best results since its inception in 2019.

Assets Under Management for the KES fund grew by 8.24 billion Kenyan shillings, reflecting a growth of 17.4 percent during the quarter, closing at 47.29 billion Kenyan shillings. This continued growth underscores the fund’s ability to attract investors while delivering consistent and competitive returns.

Similarly, the USD-denominated fund posted solid results with actual net returns of 3.14 percent in Q1 2025, equivalent to annualized net returns of 12.56 percent. The fund’s Assets Under Management grew by 10.37 million US dollars, marking a growth of 16.3 percent, and closed the quarter at 63.45 million US dollars.

This performance is closely aligned with its annual return of 12.5 percent in 2024, further affirming its resilience in international markets and its multi-asset strategy that includes equities, fixed income, derivatives, and commodities.
