A total of 17,260,600 shares in 692 deals, corresponding to a market value of KES 696,372,628.00, were traded.

Compared with the previous NSE trading day (Wednesday, November 20), today’s data shows 18% decline in volume, 14% improvement in turnover, but 14% decline in deals. The current NSE market capitalization is KES 2.35 trillion.

In the aggregate, 44 NSE listed equities participated in trading, ending with 15 ✅gainers and 19 ?losers.

Unga Group Plc [UNGA] led the gainers with ✅9.84% share price appreciation closing at KES 34.05 per share, followed by:

✅Sasini Plc [SASN] (+8.88%)
✅Kenya Airways Plc [KQ] (+8.68%)
✅Flame Tree Group Holdings [FTGH] (+5.12%).

On the losing side, Longhorn Publishers Plc [LKL] came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of ?-7.55% closing at KES 6.86 per share, followed by:

?East African Portland Cement Company [PORT]. (-5.36%)
?Liberty Kenya Holding Plc [LBTY] (-3.8%)
?Sanlam Kenya Plc [SLAM] (-2.94%).

Safaricom Plc [SCOM] recorded the highest volume of 10.7 million traded shares, followed by:

➖Equity Group Holdings [EQTY] (3.44m)
➖Cooperative Bank of Kenya [COOP] (1.13m)
➖East African Breweries Plc [EABL] (547,900).

➡️The benchmark NSE All Share Index [NASI] dropped ?-0.30 points to close at 155.00

➡️The NSE 20 Share Index gained ✅7.86 points to close at 2623.97

➡️The NSE 25 Share Index dropped ?-3.70 points to close at 3842.50

The Derivatives Market had a total of 3 contracts worth Kes.86,000 transacted in today’s trading
session.

The NSE bond market had 123 deals worth Kes 1.74 Billion a considerable increase in value from yesterday’s 81 deals valued at Kes 320 Million
