As the December contracts on the NSE came to expiry, the derivatives market posted an exponential rise in turnover, with 91 contracts valued at Kes 2.19 million transacted, as compared to the 21 single stocks futures contracts valued at Kes 496,500 transacted in the previous trading session.
The secondary bond market on the Nairobi Securities Exchange posted a decline in activity during Thursday’s session with bonds worth Kes 2.30 billion traded in 102 deals during today’s session as compared to the Kes 3.57 Billion achieved in 70 deals during the previous trading session
