At the end of today’s trading session on the Nairobi Securities Exchange 

A total of 9,215,500 shares in 1,163 deals, corresponding to a market value of KES 333,179,987.00, were traded.

Compared with the previous NSE trading day (Monday, October 25), today’s data shows 28% decline in volume, 32% decline in turnover, but 29% improvement in deals.

The current market capitalization of the Nairobi Securities Exchange is KES 2.67 trillion.

In the aggregate, 50 NSE equities participated in trading, ending with 13✅ gainers and 26🔻 losers.

Home Afrika Plc [HAFR] led the gainers with ✅8.11% share price appreciation closing at KES 0.40 per share, followed by:

✅Eveready E.A Plc [EVRD](+6.12%)
✅Nation Media Group Plc [NMG] (+5.2%)
✅ Uchumi Supermarkets Plc [UCHM] (+4.55%).

On the losing side, Express Kenya Plc [XPRS] came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of🔻 9.79% at KES 3.50 per share, followed by:

The derivatives market of the Nairobi Securities Exchange recorded a decline in activity with 8 single stock features valued at Kes 255,000 traded during today’s trading session compared to the 13single stock features valued at Kes 462,895  traded during the previous trading session.

Trading on the secondary bond market on the Nairobi Securities Exchange posted a rise in activity during Today’s trading session, with bonds valued at Kes 6.12 billion transacted in 111 deals compared to the Kes  3.06  billion worth of bonds achieved in 90  deals traded at the close of the previous trading session.
