Trading on the secondary bond market declined on the Nairobi Securities Exchange compared to Wednesday’s trading, with bonds valued at Kes 1.77 billion transacted in 76 deals compared to the Kes 2.03 billion worth of bonds achieved in 92 deals traded at the close of the previous trading session.
The derivatives segment on the Nairobi Securities Exchange posted an increase in activity with 639 futures contracts valued at Kes 23,389,090 concluded, compared to the 1 single stock futures contract valued at Kes 11,100 that was concluded at the close of Wednesday session.
