A total of 21,100,500 shares in 800 deals, corresponding to a market value of KES 612,799,340.00, were traded.

Compared with the previous NSE trading day (Tuesday, November 19), today’s data shows 207% improvement in volume, 217% improvement in turnover, but 14% decline in deals. The current NSE market capitalization is KES 2.37 trillion.

In the aggregate, 50 NSE listed equities participated in trading, ending with 17 ✅gainers and 22 ?losers.

Sasini Plc [SASN] led the gainers with ✅9.74% share price appreciation closing at KES 16.90 per share, followed by:

✅Home Afrika Plc [HAFR] (+5.08%)
✅Kakuzi Plc [KAPC] (+4.55%)
✅Kapchorua Plc [KAPC] (+3.11%).

On the losing side, Trans Century Plc [TCL] came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of ?-9.89% closing at KES 2.46 per share, followed by:

?Olympia Capital Holdings Plc [OCH] (-9.63%)
?Bamburi Cement Plc [BAMB](-9.5%)
?Kenya Power & Lighting Company Plc [KPCL] (-7.78%).

Trans Century Plc [TCL] recorded the highest volume of 10.4 million traded shares, followed by:

➖Equity Group Holdings Plc [EQTY] (2.56m)
➖KCB Group Plc [KCB](1.49m)
➖Safaricom Plc [SCOM] (1.2m).

➡️The benchmark NSE All Share Index [NASI] dropped ?-0.07 points to close at 155.30

➡️The NSE 20 Share Index dropped ?-22.73 points to close at 2616.16

➡️The NSE 25 Share Index gained ✅0.63 points to close at 3846.20

In the Derivatives Market had no trades today.

The NSE bond market had 81 deals worth Kes 320 Million a decrease in value from yesterday’s 95 deals valued at Kes 965 Million
