A total of 30,271,500 shares in 1,272 deals, corresponding to a market value of KES 974,892,582.00, were traded.

Compared with the previous NSE trading day (Monday, November 8), today’s data shows 347% improvement in volume, 531% improvement in turnover, and 2% improvement in deals.

The current market capitalization of the Nairobi Securities Exchange is KES 2.6 trillion.

In the aggregate, 45 NSE equities participated in trading, ending with 17✅ gainers and 14🔻 losers.

Crown Paints Plc [CRWN] led the gainers with 5% share price appreciation closing at✅ KES 33.60 per share, followed by:

✅Diamond Trust Bank Kenya Plc [DTK] (+4.35%)
✅ BOC Gases Kenya Plc [BOC](+3.77%)
✅ Equity Group Holdings Plc [EQTY] (+2.99%).

On the losing side, WPP ScanGroup Plc [SCAN] came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of🔻 9.2% at KES 4.54 per share, followed by:

🔻East African Cables Plc [CABL] (-7.25%)
🔻Sameer Africa Plc [SMER] (-5.39%)
🔻 Sasini Plc [SASN] (-4.52%).

Safaricom Plc [SCOM] recorded the highest volume of 15.9 million traded shares, followed by:

➖ HF Group Plc [HFCK] (4.67m)
➖KCB Group Plc [KCB] (2.98m)
➖Equity Group Holdings Plc [EQTY] (2.1m)

➡️The benchmark NSE All-Share Index [NASI] gained✅ 0.62 points to close at 171.03
➡️The NSE 20 Share Index declined🔻 1.07 points to close at 1934.83
➡️The NSE 25 Share Index gained✅ 25.51 points to close at 3775.33

Bonds & Derivatives on NSE.

The derivatives market of the Nairobi Securities Exchange recorded a decline in activity with 41 single stock features valued at Kes 1.71 million traded during today’s trading session compared to the 46 single stock features valued at Kes 1.81 million traded during the previous trading session.

Trading on the secondary bond market on the Nairobi Securities Exchange posted a rise in turnover during Today’s trading session, with bonds valued at Kes 3.10 billion transacted in 93 deals compared to the Kes 3.06 billion worth of bonds achieved in 82 deals traded at the close of the previous trading session.
