Car and General Kenya Plc [CGEN] led the gainers with ✅9.94% share price appreciation closing at KES 49.20 per share, followed by;

✅Flame Tree Group Holdings Plc [FTGH] (+3.05%).
On the losing side, Standard Group Plc [SGL] came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of 🔻9.03% at KES 14.10 per share, followed by;

🔻HF Group Plc [HFCK] (-4.46%).
Safaricom Plc [SCOM] recorded the highest volume of 5.91 million traded shares, followed by;

The benchmark NSE All-Share Index [NASI] shed 1.74 points to close at 165.84

Trading on the secondary bond market on the Nairobi Securities Exchange posted an increase in value, compared to Tuesday’s trading, with bonds valued at Kes 4.67 billion transacted in 73 deals compared to the Kes 3.16 billion worth of bonds achieved in 80 deals traded at the close of the previous trading session.
The derivatives market of the Nairobi Securities Exchange recorded a decrease in activity compared to Tuesday’s trading with 1 single stock features valued at Kes 38,500 as compared to 4 single stock features valued at Kes 128,420 traded during the previous trading session.
