The current NSE market capitalization is KES 2.17 trillion.

In the aggregate, 42 NSE listed securities participated in trading, ending with 14 gainers and 15 losers.

Nairobi Business Ventures [NBV] led the gainers with ✅649.3% share price appreciation closing at KES 5.32 per share, followed by:

✅Bank of Kigali Group Plc [BKG] (+9.26%)
✅Carbacid Investments Plc [CARB] (+8.02%)
✅Trans Century Plc [TCL] (+4.72%).

On the losing side, Umeme Limited [UMME] came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of ?8.89% at KES 6.56 per share, followed by:

Safaricom Plc [SCOM] recorded the highest volume of 10.6 million traded shares, followed by:
