At the end of today’s trading session on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE).

A total of 20,791,000 shares in 813 deals, corresponding to a market value of KES 632,697,745.00, were traded.

Compared with the previous NSE trading day (Monday, November 2), today’s data shows 57% improvement in volume, 45% improvement in turnover, and 13% improvement in deals.

The current NSE market capitalization is KES 2.11 trillion.

In the aggregate, 41 NSE listed securities participated in trading, ending with 12 ✅gainers and 21 ?losers.

Olympia Capital Holdings Plc [OCH] led the gainers with ✅9.74% share price appreciation closing at KES 2.14 per share, followed by:

✅Eveready East Africa Plc [EVRD] (+7.07%)
✅East African Cables Plc [CABL] (+6.04%)
✅Bamburi Cement Plc [BAMB] (+5.26%).

On the losing side, Limuru Tea Company Plc [LIMT] came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of ?10.00% at KES 360.00 per share, followed by:

The derivatives market of the NSE posted a rise in activity with 4 contracts valued at Kes 129,250 concluded during today’s trading session. This was higher as compared to the 1 contract transacted the previous trading sesison.

The bonds market posted a moderate growth in turnover during today’s trading session, with bonds worth Kes 2.20 billion transacted in 83 deals against the 1.67 billion worth of bonds transacted in Monday’s trading session.
