Trans Century Plc [TCL] led the gainers with ✅9.28% share price appreciation closing at KES 2.12 per share, followed by:

✅Bamburi Cement Plc [BAMB] (+6.67%)
✅Diamond Trust Bank Kenya [DTK] (+6.15%).

On the losing side, CIC Insurance Group Plc [CIC] came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of ?8.43% closing at KES 2.28 per share, followed by:

Safaricom Plc [SCOM] recorded the highest volume of 23.8 million traded shares, followed by:

The derivatives market of the NSE had 4 contracts valued at Kes 109,000 concluded in today’s trading session. This was against the 8 contracts valued at Kes 219,800 concluded in previous trading session.

The secondary bond market on the Nairobi Securities Exchange recorded a decline in activity during today’s session with bonds worth Kes 2.13 Billion achieved in 108 deals in today’s session as compared to the Kes 4.96 Billion achieved in 102 deals during the previous trading session.
