At the end of today’s trading session on the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE).
A total of 21,215,000 shares in 904 deals, corresponding to a market value of KES 659,701,502.00, were traded.
Compared with the previous NSE trading day (Monday, December 7), today’s data shows 555% improvement in volume, 657% improvement in turnover, and 43% improvement in deals.
The current NSE market capitalization is KES 2.2 trillion.
In the aggregate, 43 NSE listed securities participated in trading, ending with 15 ✅gainers and 17 ?losers.
Longhorn Publishers Plc [LKL] led the gainers with ✅8.24% share price appreciation closing at KES 4.86 per share, followed by:

The derivatives market of the Nairobi Securities Exchange had 46 single stocks futures contracts valued at Kes 1.24 million transacted. This was a rise in deals but an overall decline in turnover from the 25 contracts valued at Kes 1.8 million concluded during Monday’s trading session.
The secondary bond market on the Nairobi Securities Exchange recorded a decline in activity during today’s session with bonds worth Kes 2.96 Billion achieved in 68 deals in today’s session as compared to the Kes 1.73 Billion achieved in 46 deals during the previous trading session.
