Stanbic Holdings Plc [SBIC] led the gainers with ✅7.26% share price appreciation closing at KES 81.25 per share, followed by:

✅ Nairobi Securities Exchange Plc [NSE] (+6.52%)
✅Home Afrika Plc [HAFR] (+5.26%)
✅ Kapchorua Tea Company Plc [KAPC] (+5.13%).

On the losing side, Nairobi Business Ventures Ltd Plc[NBV] came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of? 4.69% closing at KES 0.61 per share, followed by

?Liberty Kenya Holdings Plc [LBTY] (-3.38%)
?Uchumi Supermarket Plc [UCHM] (-3.23%)
?Williamson Tea Kenya Plc [WTK] (-2.24%).

Safaricom Plc [SCOM] recorded the highest volume of 28.9 million traded shares, followed by

➖Equity Group Holdings Plc [EQTY] (6.75m)
➖Uchumi Supermarket Plc [UCHM] (3.07m)
➖KCB Group Plc [KCB] (668,200).

➡️The benchmark NSE All Share Index [NASI] gained ✅ 2.87 points to close at 140.28
➡️The NSE 20 Share Index gained✅ 18.52 points to close at 1871.84
➡️The NSE 25 Share Index gained ✅ 57.27 points to close at 3241.81

The derivatives market of the NSE had 9 contracts valued at kes 285,500 concluded in today’s trading session, this was against the 4 contract valued at Kes 131,200 transacted in the previous trading session.

The secondary bond market on the Nairobi Securities Exchange recorded a modest rise in activity during today’s session with bonds worth Kes 4.58 billion transacted in 64 deals in as compared to the Kes 4.06 billion achieved in 120 deals posted in Wednesday’s trading session
