There was a decline in the derivatives market of the Nairobi Securities Exchange with 29 single stock features valued at Kes 1.14 Million traded during today’s session compared to 39 single stock features valued at Kes 1.77 million tradings during yesterday’s trading session
Trading on the secondary bond market on the Nairobi Securities Exchange posted a decline in activity during today’s trading with bonds worth Kes 4.46 billion transacted in 73 deals as compared to the Kes 5.03 billion worth of bonds achieved in 70 deals traded at the close of Tuesday’s trading session.
Market Outlook
Equity group holdings was today’s main feature at the bourse with 3.8 Million shares valued at Kes 208 million traded exchanging hands at between Kes 53.50 and Kes 54.25. This comes just after equity announced a 98% rise in net profit to Kes 17.9 billion for the half-year period ended 30th June 2021
