NSE Updates Issuer Codes for Select Companies.

NSE new issuer codes for select counters.

The Nairobi Securities Exchange on Thursday issued a notice of change of issuer ticker codes for certain select counters.

This comes just days after the NSE updated systems went live on Monday. The changed codes is in line with companies that have changed their names, Merged or had symbols in their names. The codes will as well bring a uniform standard issuer format in code for the NSE for listings to come.

The stocks affected include NIC Group which changed the name to after it merged with CBA Group to form NCBA, Sanlam Kenya Plc which was previously Pan-African Insurance Company among others.
