Visa Appoints Eva Ngigi as New Country Manager In Kenya

Eva Ngigi Sarwari has been appointed the New Country Manager for Kenya at Visa, reporting to Corine Mbiaketcha, Vice President and General Manager for Visa in East Africa.

Eva will serve as the Senior Business Development leader and be part of the East Africa leadership team.

In her new role, Eva is expected to develop and implement Visa’s growth strategy in Kenya. She is also tasked with the duty to  accelerate the firm’s local growth through identifying critical business opportunities.

Eva holds 15 years’ experience in the banking industry having worked  financial institutions such as CfC Stanbic and Cooperative bank. Her most recent role was commercial banking head in East Africa at Standard Chartered.

At Standard Chartered Eva started of in the transaction-banking department where she did a spectacular job increasing the sales of the bank and also increasing the service offered to clients.This saw her rise to  the position of the head of commercial banking segment all over East Africa.

Eva studied Business Management and Marketing Management from Moi University where she attained a bachelor’s degree.she went further on and  obtained a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Nairobi and a postgraduate diploma in Digital Business from EMERITUS.Eva has also  taken part in the Oxford Fintech Programme.
