Compared with the previous NSE trading day (Monday, December 9), today’s data shows 92% improvement in volume, 142% improvement in turnover, and 26% improvement in deals.

The current NSE market capitalization is KES 2.43 trillion.

In the aggregate, 43 NSE listed equities participated in trading, ending with 15 ✅gainers and 16 ?losers.

Total Kenya Plc [TOTL] led the gainers with ✅2.19% share price appreciation closing at KES 28.00 per share, followed by:

✅Carbacid Investments Plc [CARB](+1.98%)
✅Home Afrika Plc [HAFR] (+1.96%)
✅KenGen Plc [KEGN] (+1.38%).

On the losing side, Sameer Africa Plc [SMER] came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of ?-7.46% closing at KES 3.60 per share, followed by:

?HF Group Plc [HFCK] (-6.35%)
?Olympia Capital Holdings [OCH] (-5.45%).

Safaricom Plc [SCOM] recorded the highest volume of 15 million traded shares, followed by:

The secondary Bond market at the NSE had 69 deals worth Kes 1.37 Billion, a rise in value from Yesterday’s 40 deals valued at Kes 779.2 Million
