In the aggregate, 48 NSE listed equities participated in trading, ending with 15✅ gainers and 25 ????losers.

Nation Media Group Plc [NMG] led the gainers with 9.94% share price appreciation closing at✅ KES 17.70 per share, followed by

✅Express Kenya Plc [XPRS] (+8.11%)
✅TransCentury Plc [TCL] (+7.02%)
✅TPS Eastern Africa Plc [TPSE] (+6.25%).

On the losing side, CIC Insurance Plc [CIC] came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of???? 6.96% at KES 2.14 per share, followed by

????Home Afrika Plc [HAFR] (-5%)

????Liberty Kenya Holdings Plc [LBTY] (-4.23%).

Safaricom Plc [SCOM] recorded the highest volume of 5.7 million traded shares, followed by;

➖Kenya Re-Insurance Corporation [KNRE] (2.69m)
➖East African Breweries Plc [EABL] (433,300)
➖Equity Group Holdings Plc [EQTY] (397,900)

➡️The benchmark NSE All-Share Index [NASI] declined???? 0.19  to close at 165.20
➡️The NSE 20 Share Index declined???? 2.89 points to close at 1912.79
➡️The NSE 25 Share Index declined???? 1.20 points to close at 3623.76

Bonds & Derivatives on NSE

The derivatives market recorded a decline during today’s trading session with 14 contracts valued at Kes 540,700 concluded as compared to the 12 contracts valued at Kes 4,341,000 traded during the previous trading session.

The secondary bond market of the Nairobi Securities Exchange has recorded a decline in activity during today’s trading session with bonds worth Kes 2.76 billion traded in 64 deals as compared to the Kes 3.45 billion achieved in 53 deals concluded in the previous trading session.
