At the end of today’s trading session on the Nairobi Securities Exchange

Compared with the previous NSE trading day (Tuesday, March 16), today’s data shows 52% decline in volume, 85% decline in turnover, and 18% decline in deals.

The current Nairobi Securities Exchange market capitalization is KES 2.46 trillion.

In the aggregate, 47 NSE listed equities participated in trading, ending with 25✅ gainers and 17? losers.

Longhorn Publishers Plc [LKL] led the gainers with✅ 7.51% share price appreciation closing at KES 4.58 per share, followed by:

The derivatives market of the Nairobi Securities Exchange recorded a decline in activity during today’s trading session, with 30 single stock futures contracts valued at Kes 1,122,950 concluded, compared to the 43 SSF contracts valued at Kes 1,495,000  million concluded on the previous session

Trading on the secondary bond market on the Nairobi Securities Exchange recorded a decline during today’s trading session with bonds worth Kes 2.41 billion transacted in 57 deals as compared to the Kes 3.35 billion worth of bonds achieved in 110 deals in the preceding session.
