At the end of today’s trading session on the Nairobi Securities Exchange 

A total of 9,761,700 shares in 911 deals, corresponding to a market value of KES 339,253,272.00, were traded.

Compared with the previous NSE trading day (Wednesday, November 17), today’s data shows 41% decline in volume, 52% decline in turnover, and 14% decline in deals.

The current market capitalization of the Nairobi Securities Exchange is KES 2.57 trillion.

In the aggregate, 41 NSE equities participated in trading, ending with 16✅ gainers and 17🔻 losers.

Olympia Capital Holdings [OCH] led the gainers with✅ 9.34% share price appreciation closing at KES 1.99 per share, followed by:

✅ Express Kenya Plc [XPRS] (+7.34%)
✅ HF Group Plc [HFCK] (+6.46%)
✅ NewGold ETF [GLD](+6.34%).

On the losing side, Nairobi Business Ventures [NBV] came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of🔻 7.87% at KES 4.10 per share, followed by:

🔻Britam Holdings Plc [BRIT] (-2.77%)

The derivatives market of the Nairobi Securities Exchange recorded a slump in activity with 3 single stock features valued at Kes 129,420 traded during today’s trading session compared to the 17 single stock features valued at Kes  635,930 traded during the previous trading session.

Trading on the secondary bond market on the Nairobi Securities Exchange posted a rise in turnover during Today’s trading session, with bonds valued at Kes 3.22 billion transacted in 118 deals compared to the Kes 2.21 billion worth of bonds achieved in 106 deals traded at the close of the previous trading session.
