Williamson Tea Kenya Plc [WTK] led the gainers with✅ 7.36% share price appreciation closing at KES 138.50 per share, followed by;

✅Britam Holdings Plc [BRIT] [ (+4.45%)
✅HF Group Plc [HFCK] (+4.34%).
On the losing side, Nation Media Group Plc [NMG] came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of 🔻9.75% at KES 18.05 per share, followed by;

Safaricom Plc [SCOM] recorded the highest volume of 5.16 million traded shares, followed by;

The benchmark NSE All-Share Index [NASI] gained

Bonds & Derivatives on NSE.
Trading on the secondary bond market increased on the Nairobi Securities Exchange compared to Thursday’s trading, with bonds valued at Kes 4.19 billion transacted in 84 deals compared to the Kes 4.0 billion worth of bonds achieved in 84 deals traded at the close of the previous trading session.
There were no futures contracts traded in the derivatives segment on the Nairobi Securities Exchange.
