The current market capitalization of the Nairobi Securities Exchange is KES 2.71 trillion.

In the aggregate, 48 NSE equities participated in trading, ending with 12 ✅gainers and 23🔻 losers.

Sasini Plc [SASN] led the gainers with✅ 3.7% share price appreciation closing at KES 21.00 per share, followed by:

✅Sanlam Kenya Plc [SLAM] (+1.3%)
✅ Safaricom Plc [SCOM] (+1.06%).

On the losing side, Eveready E. A Plc [EVRD]came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of🔻 10% at KES 0.90 per share, followed by:

The derivatives market of the Nairobi Securities Exchange recorded a decline in activity with 6 single stock features valued at Kes 279,750 traded during today’s trading session compared to the 10 single stock features valued at Kes 303,660 traded during the previous trading session.

Trading on the secondary bond market on the Nairobi Securities Exchange posted a decline in activity during Today’s trading session, with bonds valued at Kes 2.32 billion transacted in 83 deals compared to the Kes 3.53  billion worth of bonds achieved in 158  deals traded at the close of the previous trading session.
