a total of 15,298,200 shares in 660 deals, corresponding to a market value of KES 373,867,078.00, were traded.

Compared with the previous NSE trading day (Thursday, November 5), today’s data shows 57% decline in volume, 66% decline in turnover, and 9% decline in deals.

The current NSE market capitalization is KES 2.12 trillion.

In the aggregate, 41 NSE listed securities participated in trading, ending with 22 ✅gainers and 13 ?losers.

Express Kenya Plc [XPRS] led the gainers with ✅8.61% share price appreciation closing at KES 3.91 per share, followed by:

✅Uchumi Supermarket Plc [UCHM] (+7.14%)
✅Stanbic Holdings Plc [SBIC] (+5.96%)
✅ILAM Fahari Income REIT [FAHR] (+3%).

On the losing side, Eveready East Africa Plc [EVRD] came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of ?9.09% closing at KES 0.90 per share, followed by:

?Kenya Re-Insurance Corporation [KNRE] (-7.34%)
?Liberty Kenya Holdings Plc [LBTY] (-4.09%)
?Flame Tree Group Holdings [FTGH] (-3.47%).

The bonds market posted a decline in turnover during today’s trading session, with bonds worth Kes 1.18 billion transacted in 43 deals against the 1.26 billion worth of bonds transacted in the previous trading session.
