HF Group Appoints Samuel Mwangi as Board Chairman and Elizabeth Gitau as Independent Director effective 13 March 2026

Listed financial services provider HF Group PLC (NSE: $HFCK) has announced the appointment of Ms. Elizabeth Gitau as an Independent Non-Executive Director, effective March 13, 2026.

Ms. Gitau is an experienced human resource management professional with a proven track record in both consultancy and corporate environments. She brings a wealth of expertise to the Group, having worked in Kenya, Uganda and South Africa and served in leadership roles across international organizations including Unilever and KPMG.

“Her work reflects a high-level understanding of human resources as a strategic lever for sustainable business growth and impact. Her experience spans HR transformation and the application of modern workforce models, such as agile working, flexible structures, diversity and inclusion,” said HF Group PLC in a statement.

HF Group PLC Subsidiary Appoints New Chairman

The Board of Directors of HFC Limited also appointed Mr. Samuel Mwangi Makome as Chairman of the company following approval by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK).

Mr. Makome brings over 30 years of experience in banking, having worked in tier I lenders including KCB Group, Standard Chartered Bank Kenya, and Equity Group Holdings.

HF Group is set to release its set of financial results for FY 2025 on 25th March 2026.
