Hilda Njeru Takes over at CDSC

CDSC's Company Secretary Hilda Njeru who is taking over as CEO from Rose Mambo effective October 1,2019

Hilda Njeru is set to take over as the Acting Chief Executive officer at The Central Depository & Settlement Corporation starting October 1,2019. Hilda takes over from Rose Mambo who is exiting the firm after 12 years of service.

Until her appointment, Hilda has been the CDSC Group Company Secretary and headed the Legal & Compliance Department whose mandate is to provide legal services to CDSC and its subsidiaries, oversee and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Hilda holds a Master of Laws degree (LL.M) and a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B) both from the University of Nairobi. She has a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law and is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She is also a Certified Public Secretary, CPS (K) and has successfully completed the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) course. She has over 9 years experience in the field of financial law and compliance and has worked in the Banking and Capital Markets industries.
