Compared with the previous NSE trading day (Wednesday, November 13), today’s data shows 31% improvement in volume, 0.47% improvement in turnover, and 7% decline in deals. The current NSE market capitalization is KES 2.41 trillion.

In the aggregate, 47 NSE listed equities participated in trading, ending with 16 ✅gainers and 21 ?losers.

East African Cables Plc [CABL] led the gainers with ✅5.00% share price appreciation closing at KES 2.94 per share, followed by:

✅WPP ScanGroup Plc [SCAN](+4.07%)
✅BOC Kenya Plc [BOC] (+3.95%)
✅Sameer Africa Plc [SMER] (+3.64%).

On the losing side, Trans Century came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of ?-10.00%, closing at KES 2.70 per share, followed by:

?Kakuzi Plc [KUKZ] (-8.59%)
?Kenya Airways Plc [KQ] (-8.11%).

Safaricom Plc [SCOM] recorded the highest volume of 9.5 million traded shares, followed by:

➖KCB Group Plc [KCB] (1.03m)
➖Equity Group Holdings Plc [EQTY] (471,000).

➡️The benchmark NSE All Share Index [NASI] gained ✅1.57 points to close at 158.84

➡️The NSE 25 Share Index dropped ?-18.66 points to close at 3880.03

The Derivatives Market had a no transaction today.
