At the end of today’s trading session on the Nairobi Securities Exchange

Compared with the previous NSE trading day (Tuesday, October 12), today’s data shows 63% decline in volume but 15% improvement in deals.

The current market capitalization of the Nairobi Securities Exchange is KES 2.68 trillion.

In the aggregate, 47 NSE equities participated in trading, ending with 12✅ gainers and 23🔻 losers.

Standard Group Plc [SGL] led the gainers with ✅6.21% share price appreciation closing at KES 17.10 per share, followed by:

On the losing side, Home Afrika Plc [HAFR] came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of 5% at🔻 KES 0.38 per share, followed by:

The derivatives market of the Nairobi Securities Exchange recorded a rise in activity with 13 single stock features valued at Kes 486,250 traded during today’s trading session compared to the 12 single stock features valued at Kes  446,730 traded during the previous trading session.

Trading on the secondary bond market on the Nairobi Securities Exchange posted a decline in activity during Today’s trading session, with bonds valued at Kes 2.95 billion transacted in 95 deals compared to the Kes 3.20 billion worth of bonds achieved in 83 deals traded at the close of the previous trading session.
