Compared with the previous NSE trading day (Monday, October 18), today’s data shows 90% improvement in volume, 100% improvement in turnover, and 33% improvement in deals.

The current market capitalization of the Nairobi Securities Exchange is KES 2.68 trillion.

In the aggregate, 48 NSE equities participated in trading, ending with 18✅ gainers and 21🔻 losers.

Sasini Plc [SASN] led the gainers with 7.5% share price appreciation closing at ✅KES 21.50 per share, followed by:

✅Nairobi Securities Exchange Plc [NSE] (+4.68%)
✅Stanbic Holdings Plc [SBIC](+4.65%).

On the losing side, Standard Group Plc [SGL] came out last with an end-of-day price depreciation of 🔻4.44% at KES 16.15 per share, followed by:

Trading on the secondary bond market on the Nairobi Securities Exchange posted a decline in activity during Today’s trading session, with bonds valued at Kes 3.73 billion transacted in 69 deals compared to the Kes 5.74  billion worth of bonds achieved in 124  deals traded at the close of the previous trading session.
