African Women Investors (AWI), a network for women in the diaspora and African countries will be holding its second annual investment summit on the 13th of December, 2019 at Radisson Blue, Hotel in Upper Hill, Nairobi from 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM.

The event’s keynote speaker will be Kenya’s former Controller of Budget , FCPA Agnes Odhiambo, CBS. Other confirmed speakers will include Geoffrey Odundo, CEO NSE; Paul Muthaura, CEO CMA; Edward Burbidge, CEO Burbidge Capital; Jennifer Barassa, CEO Top Image; Mrs. Flora Mutahi, CEO & founder Melvin’s Tea; Paul Mwai, CEO AIB Capital; Dr. Lucy McKenzie Co.founder of Kenya North America Diaspora Sacco ( K-NADS) and Mr. Simon Nyagah Co. founder and Board Chair of the largest Kenya, USA Diaspora Sacco.

There will also be numerous other notable speakers on a variety of fields and disciplines. AWI’s purpose is to facilitate investment in Africa’s emerging markets and to participate in building Africa’s economies for long term socio- economic impact and most importantly, to empower women to be informed investors.
